One lot somewhere in this sale is this week’s Mystery Lot. Can you guess which?
Antique American stoneware and pottery
A deep run of 19th century Southern and Virginia pieces: Chandler caramel-glaze and spouted jugs with Albany slip, a cobalt-decorated David Parr crock from the James River valley, a western Virginia salt-glazed crock, a Southern alkaline-glazed bean pot, Lancaster PA redware, Rowe Pottery cobalt-decorated pitchers, and Watt yellowware mixing bowls. Alongside them are hand-hewn maple treenware and butter paddles with central Virginia provenance.
Antique furniture, clocks, and rugs

An American Empire mahogany secretary bookcase, an Eastlake Victorian walnut bed, an American Empire five-drawer chest with spiral-carved columns, a pine stepback hutch, a slant-top clerk’s desk, six bow-back Windsor chairs, and a tilt-top games table with inlaid checkerboard. Eight clocks include Gilbert gothic beehive and tambour mantel clocks and a Victorian oak gingerbread clock. Rugs include a signed Persian 12′ x 9′ and a Karaja/Heriz, with hand-stitched quilts.
Glass, china, and silver
Wedgwood blue Jasperware, Waterford "Colleen" and cut crystal decanters, Murano Fratelli Toso art glass, Royal Bonn Art Nouveau lamps, a Victorian cranberry oil lamp, a Mikasa service for eight, Noritake lusterware, sterling flatware, and an 1847 Rogers Bros. "Eternally Yours" set in chest.
Civil War relics and collectibles
Civil War dug relics from the Saylor’s Creek battlefield and farm, an antique bayonet, a powder horn, military leather goods, a tramp art carved walnut eagle, vintage advertising and character dolls, a Kenner Star Wars Darth Vader case, Marx and Nylint toy vehicles, cast iron sad irons, glass marbles, and a Bob Dylan 1966 Mosque concert poster with sealed 2LP.
